GHEDIN
Beth Ghedin is a Brazilian singer and pianist, restless and exotic, exuding Bahian soul, who also draws from classical training. She floats through several Brazilian and international rhythms and sings in several languages: Portuguese, English, Italian, Spanish, German and her songs in French are a special highlight.
She describes herself as a “walking metamorphosis”. She has performed numerous events, concerts and shows during her career, some highlights include: “Chant D'Amour show,” a review of her French repertoire at the Pedro Ivo Theater, “Songs that Made an Era” at Teatro Da Ubro and Raízes , and “Show Animal” at Teatro Dionísio.
Her style is striking, lively and dramatic. She is currently releasing her new album “Beth Ghedin: De Todos os Santos,” with songs in Portuguese, English, and French, all done in her signature Bahian style, displaying joyful rhythms from her African and Brazilian roots, and her unique and unmistakable touch on these new arrangements.
